Do you have any odd-jobs or projects around the house you need done? I am especially skilled at detailing and cleaning cars. I am 19 years old and live with the Weathers familly on Eaglebend Lane. I am looking to supplement my part-time job to earn extra money. I can be reached at 214-705-4973.

Mosquitoes---Does anyone else have issue with Mosquitoes on their property? I had about 8 of them on me last evening in 5 minutes in my back yard. I assumed it was due to our proximity to water but the neighbors I've spoken to don't seem to have any issue. One thing I have noticed is that all of the gutters on my house are hung sloping away from the down spouts. This causes quite a bit of water to pool in the gutters which could give them some still water for laying eggs. I hear people rave about the quality of David Weekly homes but this is just one of several issues that boggles the mind.

Any other gardeners in PS? I've started a vegetable garden almost 2 months ago and I've lost most of it to insects and disease already. My main issue is spotted cucumber beetles that I have in overwhelming numbers that have spread some sort of bacterial wilt to my tomatoes. I've lost 4/5 tomato plants already. They nearly chewed my basil to the ground. Anyone else have issues with these bugs? They have become my nemesis. I've caught and killed as many as 30 bugs in a single morning. I've been using Spinosad on my plants but they keep coming. I'm planning on deploying bait traps targeted at cucumber beetles. I also have beneficial nematodes on the way to make sure no larva breed in my soil. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spotted_cucumber_beetle I am wondering because other gardeners I work with who live in Frisco and Plano have never seen one of these beetles. I'm wondering if it is localized in our area or in my neighborhood (Squaw Creek).

FSBO - 4267 Squaw Creek Drive - $279.9k. The kids and I started volunteering at a horse rescue last year and fell in love with the horses and have decided to make the change from hobby/volunteer to having land ourselves to help the less fortunate equines out there.I love our home and hate to leave it, but we can't have both. If you know anyone interested in moving into our wonderful neighborhood, please let me know. Thanks for 6 great years with you.

Neighbors, Someone has been calling the FPD re: Frisco Kids Shuttle's "speed" while driving thru our neighborhood. I asked my son to watch their speed for 2 weeks now, and the Shuttle is going 20mph or less while he's in the van. The speed limit is 30mph. Kindly stop calling FPD unless you have actually clocked them with your car or radar gun. This service is critical to children with working parents. Thank you.
